2012 FE Data conference

Our joint 2012 FE Data Conference took place on 28 March in Coventry and was attended by over 200 enthusiastic delegates.

The day kicked off with Sir Geoff Hall, Chair of the information authority, providing an overview of the changing landscape for simplification of the FE sector.

Keynote speeches were also delivered by Keith Smith from the Skills Funding Agency who updated delegates on the Agency’s plans for a simplified funding system and timetable for implementation. Geoff Daniels from the YPLA provided a high level view of the YPLA’s simplification project.

Workshops were delivered throughout the day by the data agencies and the funding agencies, all focusing on collaborative working.
