College Group

The College Group is made up of college staff who are responsible for returning ILR data. 

At the most recent meeting of the group, on 30 April 2013, the following topics were covered:

  • A discussion with Sir Geoff Hall, chair of the information authority, on the Board’s decision to bring forward the final 2012/13 ILR return closing date
  • A demonstration of a NAS tool to help small and medium sized employers to identify Apprenticeship providers
  • An audit issues discussion with a Principal Auditor from the Skills Funding Agency
  • Further information on the Skills Funding Agency’s transition funding arrangements
  • An update on the EFA’s funding calculation for 2013/14
  • The data changes providers need to make for the 2013/14 ILR
  • An update on the progress of the Data Collections and Funding Transformation Programme

The next meeting will be held in Coventry on 30 July.
