Employer Responsive Group
This group is for representatives from Employer Responsive providers who are responsible for preparing an sending ER ILR returns.
Meeting outputs
At the meeting on 8 July, the following issues were covered:
- The Skills Funding Agency’s National Director of Provider Financial Assurance gave an overview of the new audit regime and discussed audit issues with the group.
- An overview of Guidance Note 4 which clarifies how the Skills Funding Agency will implement the freedoms and flexibilities for colleges, training organisations and employers announced by John Hayes on 17 June.
- The Data Service provided an update on its software tools and heard concerns from the group about the limited information currently available on the Learning Aims Database for 2010/11.
- A reminder of key changes to the 2010/11 ILR, discussion on some current ILR issues and the data requirements for Foundation Learning.
- There was a presentation from LLUK on the benefits of returning the Staff Individualised Record. LLUK provides online tools that enable learning providers to create bespoke analyses of their workforce data, compare their data at national/regional levels and benchmark against sector norms.
