The ILR Development Process
The information authority secretariat engages with FE stakeholders to gather requirements and requests for change to the data specification of the ILR.
All requests received are assessed to ensure that they are:
- well defined
- supported by a good business case, including the assessment of burden
- in support of key sector targets and goals
Requests that meet these initial requirements will be evaluated alongside other requests received from the sector to ensure consistency and clarity.
All requests received will be posted on the feconnect community site at http://theia.communityserver.com/ and all stakeholders will be able to view and comment on these requests.
Following a period of stakeholder consultation, a final list of recommendations for changes is submitted to the information authority board for approval.
