Data Harmonisation Working Groups
Data Harmonisation Working Groups act as technical sub-groups for the
Success Rate Data Harmonisation Group and provide advice on possible changes and/or improvements in the calculation and presentation of post-16 data. Their work covers all funding streams.
Membership of the groups includes representatives from the main partner organisations
BIS,
DfE,
Skills Funding Agency,
YPLA,
the information authority,
the Data Service and
Ofsted. However, other colleagues from either the partner organisations or other interested parties may be invited to join the groups, dependant on the skills and expertise required to resolve the topics under review.
The work of the groups are not constricted by existing data harmonisation problems and will, under the direction of the Success Rate Data Harmonisation Group, consider future data harmonisation issues and look beyond ‘quick fixes’.
If and when possible solutions are agreed, members of the groups will undertake to test models and propose timescales for implementation and analyse possible barriers to implementation.
