Friends and private messaging

How do I add a friend?

There is an ‘Add to Friends’ link in a user’s profile page, below their avatar.  To access a users profile, click on their name anywhere in the site.  The user will receive a notification to choose to accept or reject the friend request.

Can I send private messages to other users of Feconnect?

Private messages can be sent to other members listed as friends in your profile.  Click ‘start a conversation’ and type the members user name to start a conversation.  When you are logged in, a ‘conversations’ link is located in the top left hand side of the screen, which will take you directly to a list of any conversation.
 

What if I receive spam or abusive e-mail from someone on Feconnect?

Please report any incidents of inappropriate use of the site to cst@theia.org.uk.  It will then be looked into.
