What are administrators?

Administrators manage the technical details required for running the site. As such, they may set user permissions such as promoting members to moderators, manage the rules, and create sections and sub-sections. On Feconnect, the administrators also act as moderators. Administrators may also make forum-wide announcements, or change the appearance of a forum.

What are moderators?

Moderators are users of the forum who are granted access to the posts and threads of all members for the purpose of moderating discussion and also keeping the forum clean (neutralising spam and spambots etc).

What are group owners?

Group owners are users given specific permission to set up and manage group membership.
