Additional meeting for software writers

Software suppliers and
own software writers have requested an additional joint meeting to work through the details of the Single ILR in XML project.
The information authority is therefore hosting a meeting on 07 March 2011 to provide the information necessary to ensure successful implementation for 2011/12 learner returns.
The 2011/12 ILR Specification will be published on 28 February 2011 in both flat file and XML formats, and this meeting aims to provide clarification on:
- the Learner Information Suite (LIS) export table structure
- Details of the XML schema and XSD
- Validation rules
- the Learning Aims Reference Application (formerly the Learning Aims Database) structure.
Regular attendees have also requested a presentation from the Skills Funding Agency's Nextsteps Course Directory team at this meeting.
