ILR change request summary now available

The information authority
has produced a summary document of all change requests that have been submitted for the 2009/10 Individualised Learner Record (ILR), and information about how these are being progressed, in response to requests from stakeholders.

Within the summary, each change request is listed, along with details about which organisation made the request, why it was proposed, if it is being taken forward to consultation, and what questions are being asked as part of that consultation. It also explains why some of the requests received are not going to be progressed.

Each request going forward to consultation has its own discussion area on the feconnect forum – and a direct link is to each discussion area is provided in the document.

Anne Fessi, Community and Stakeholder Manager for the information authority said: “Stakeholders were keen to keep abreast of which ILR change requests had been submitted and what the outcome was for each one – not just those that they themselves had put forward, and not just those being consulted on. The summary document will not only give colleagues these details, but it will also make it easier for them to find the relevant discussion area on the feconnect website and join in the debate.”
