Head of the information authority speaks at Association of Colleges meeting

John Perks, Head of
the information authority, was one of the speakers at
the Association of Colleges (AoC) West Midlands MIS Network meeting in Shrewsbury on Tuesday 10 January.
John spoke on the topic of the ongoing simplification of the individualised learner record (ILR) specification, which brought together the following four data collection specifications for the first time in 2011/12:
- Learner Responsive Funding
- Employer Responsive Funding
- Adult Safeguarded Learning
- European Social Funding
He went on to highlight the planned changes for the 2012/13 ILR specification and to discuss the implications for the 2013/14 ILR change process.
